His initial inspiring influences are urban, pop and audiovisual. Whether inspired of art cinema, urban dance, advertisement photography, electronic music and Japanese animated drawings, Shonen is set at the intersection of narrative codes and crossed aesthetic universe, and this mixing engenders imagination and reflection over the representation of dance. For each dance play, several projects in visual arts are created: series of photography, short films, and illustrations.
