Tanshin is a male duet mixing Krump and martial arts with a singer from Okinawa and an electro-acoustic musician, where the dance KRUMP is also theater of bodies, and where choreography gives rise to see and read movements which signify a physical concern, where the marks are found through a struggle that is also a quest of identity, and perhaps a desire for recognition.
The performance was played at the Théâtre du Soleil in the Cartoucherie de vincennes on the occasion of the Festival Premiers Pas and in the National Center of Dance in Pantin on the occa- sion of hip hop Tanz festival. It got the special prize in the festival Karavel of Mourad Merzouki ( cie Kafig) in Bron.
The creation was adapted on short movie of 13 minutes by director Sylvain Decay, filmed under the Highway A6-A86, Maison Alfort. Tanshin was selected to International’s Festival of Dance Bourgogne in 2010, and Dance screeen to Amsterdam..
